BEC Australia named the first three people to be given life membership

At the recent AGM, BEC Australia named the first three people to be given life membership to the organisation. Colin O'Brien, Adhir Singh and Neil Butterworth were each recognized for the role that they played in the formation and development of the organisation. Adhir - who lives in Sydney - was then invited to attend the SBDC gala dinner and congratulated on his membership by Peter Murray, Chair of BEC Australia (right) and David Baumgarten, Deputy Chair of BEC Australia.

The winners of the 2009 BEC Australia Awards for Performance were announced at the Small Business Development Conference gala dinner at the Swiss grand Resort and Spa on the 10th of November. The Hon Dr Craig Emerson presented the trophies to the winners who were:

CBEC unveils Gold Coast plans

The expertise of the Caboolture Business Enterprise Centre (CBEC) could be used to set up a similar small business incubator on the Gold Coast.
